What to Expect

For the next 10 days, we’ll work the core every day through short and spicy sessions. You can use them on their own if your focus is purely core, or stack them at the beginning or end of your workouts for an extra challenge. If you’re following any of my glute focused programs, this is the perfect add on to build abs and core strength. Even though this is a 10 day challenge, don’t stop once it’s over! Keep incorporating these movements for long term results. We’ll be targeting all layers of the core so you feel stronger, more stable, and more connected to your body. REMEMBER: while training is key, nutrition plays a huge role in fat loss and definition. Check out my Wellness Guide under the GUIDES section for more support.     Fitness + Nutrition Coach

    Hey, I’m Maria — Women’s Fitness Coach, Integrative Nutrition and Hormone Health Coach, and founder of Best Shape by Maria (BSM). I didn’t grow up playing sports and never saw myself as athletic — let alone someone who would turn fitness into a career. But 8 years ago, everything changed when I began my own journey. Through strength training, Pilates, and hormone-supportive nutrition, I discovered that real, lasting change doesn’t come from punishing your body — it comes from supporting it. That’s when I developed my signature Strength x Pilates method, blending resistance-based training with controlled, mindful movement to sculpt strong glutes, define the upper body, and strengthen the core. I pair this with my 2-1 Method: two days of strength training followed by one Pilates session to promote glute growth, mobility, and recovery. Movement is only one piece of the puzzle. I also teach women how to fuel their bodies with whole, nutrient-dense foods that support hormone balance, energy, and long-term vitality — no gimmicks, no crash diets. My approach is about building strength from the inside out, empowering women to feel confident, capable, and deeply connected to their bodies. Over the years, I’ve guided hundreds of women through their own transformations, helping them sculpt strong physiques and build lasting confidence — not just in the gym, but in life. My mission is simple: to empower women to train smarter, fuel better, and move with intention so they can thrive in strong, balanced bodies they love.
