Hey, I’m Maria — Women’s Fitness Coach, Integrative Nutrition and Hormone Health Coach, and founder of Best Shape by Maria (BSM).
I didn’t grow up playing sports and never saw myself as athletic — let alone someone who would turn fitness into a career. But 8 years ago, everything changed when I began my own journey. Through strength training, Pilates, and hormone-supportive nutrition, I discovered that real, lasting change doesn’t come from punishing your body — it comes from supporting it.
That’s when I developed my signature Strength x Pilates method, blending resistance-based training with controlled, mindful movement to sculpt strong glutes, define the upper body, and strengthen the core. I pair this with my 2-1 Method: two days of strength training followed by one Pilates session to promote glute growth, mobility, and recovery.
Movement is only one piece of the puzzle. I also teach women how to fuel their bodies with whole, nutrient-dense foods that support hormone balance, energy, and long-term vitality — no gimmicks, no crash diets. My approach is about building strength from the inside out, empowering women to feel confident, capable, and deeply connected to their bodies.
Over the years, I’ve guided hundreds of women through their own transformations, helping them sculpt strong physiques and build lasting confidence — not just in the gym, but in life.
