Hey, I’m Maria — Women’s Fitness Coach, Integrative Nutrition and Hormone Health Coach, and founder of Best Shape by Maria (BSM). I didn’t grow up playing sports and never saw myself as athletic — let alone someone who would turn fitness into a career. But 8 years ago, everything changed when I began my own journey. Through strength training, Pilates, and hormone-supportive nutrition, I discovered that real, lasting change doesn’t come from punishing your body — it comes from supporting it. That’s when I developed my signature Strength x Pilates method, blending resistance-based training with controlled, mindful movement to sculpt strong glutes, define the upper body, and strengthen the core. I pair this with my 2-1 Method: two days of strength training followed by one Pilates session to promote glute growth, mobility, and recovery. Movement is only one piece of the puzzle. I also teach women how to fuel their bodies with whole, nutrient-dense foods that support hormone balance, energy, and long-term vitality — no gimmicks, no crash diets. My approach is about building strength from the inside out, empowering women to feel confident, capable, and deeply connected to their bodies.
